and author of the "Mapping The World By Heart" Curriculum




  • About the presenter: David Smith has 26 years of experience teaching Geography, History, and English. In 1992, he received an "A+ For Breaking The Mold" Award from the U.S. Department of Education for his geography curriculum, "Mapping The World By Heart". Mr. Smith's work with students has been featured in Time, The New York Times, The Today Show, and The International Educator, and dozens of others newspapers and magazines. He has given lectures and workshops for educators all over the world on geography education and on Internet/Web issues and education. He is the author of several books.
